Manchester United and West Ham United could be set to scupper Fulham’s long planned move for Fluminense midfielder André as he gears up to leave Brazil.
That’s according to Trivela, who say the Premier League pair are also showing interest in the midfielder.
They explain that eve before winning the Copa Libertadores, Fluminense knew that they would lose André, and teammate Nino. They therefore reached an agreement with the pair so that they could finish the season at the club, compete in the Club World Cup and then negotiate afterwards.
André in particular is a firm favourite, and the interest has not stopped growing in him since the summer, when bids were made but ultimately rebuffed as he agreed to stay.
The interest never waned, though, and reports in England have already gone as far as to say Fulham, who have long liked the midfielder and see him as a potential replacement for Joao Palhinha, have a verbal agreement in place.
Trivela dispute that and say as they are aware there is nothing certain between the relevant parties, but Manchester United and West Ham can be added to the list of interested parties.
Like Fulham, neither of them seem to have made a move yet but Trivela say that scenario ‘should not take long to change’. In other words, Manchester United and West Ham can makes moves in the January transfer window so be ready for that to happen.
