Now that West Ham have sold Sébastien Haller to Ajax, the Hammers’ hierarchy have a job to replace him.

However, there could be a very cheap option on the cards, and that’s former Southampton striker Graziano Pellè.
The Italian forward has been in China for the past four and a half years when he swapped St Mary’s for Shandong Luneng Taishan, but walked away on a free on January 1st 2021.
That has led a number of clubs to be interested in the 35-year-old free agent, including West Ham, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper explain there have been ‘English enquiries’ for his services, and then name the Hammers in brackets, looking at a short-term contract due to his age.
It’s not the name West Ham fans will want to hear, but as a short-term solution, if no one else is available, well…
