The Italian media continues reporting the chase for Celtic youngster Armstrong Okoflex.

Just yesterday, it had been website Tutto Mercato Web who claimed several clubs were watching the youngster’s situation at the Hoops.

They said Bologna and Torino were those watching Okoflex last year, and now other Serie A sides should join the race for the 18-year-old Celtic player.

Today, Turin newspaper Tuttosport backs up this information, confirming that Torino should take his signing ‘into consideration’.

They claim that Okoflex wouldn’t be a priority, and recall that his signing had already been evaluated last year. The outlet also writes that ‘several’ Italian clubs are ‘thinking’ about the player.

Okoflex joined Celtic on a free move from Arsenal in 2018, and despite being taken to the bench twice, he’s still to make his official debut for the Hoops.

He’s actually part of the reserve squads for now, and that could have an impact on his decision to leave the club, as his contract expires in the summer.
