Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri would look ‘very favourably’ on a move to West Ham United, after rejecting them in the past.
That’s according to El Mira, who state the La Liga side are looking to sell him in the summer window and he could end up at West Ham.
Earlier this week, the Hammers confirmed Julen Lopetegui as David Moyes’ successor and the new manager ‘could unblock the move’ for the 26-year-old.
Lopetegui managed En-Nesyri at the Andalusian club and the report says the pair had a good relationship.
It’s explained that the new West Ham manager’s ‘big wish’ is to sign the frontman in the next window.
Sevilla don’t have any non-transferable players following their failure to qualify for Europe next season. The Morocco international has a year left on his contract and his side want to avoid losing him as a free agent in 2025.
In fact, En-Nesyri is one of the players who can help the Spanish club raise money and their aim is to earn at least €20m. The report says this is a ‘ridiculous amount’ for West Ham, meaning cheap, who are ‘once again interested’ in him.
Lopetegui could be key for West Ham to sign En-Nesyri, and with all parties in favour of a transfer, a deal is very possible.
