There’s a claim in the Turkish media that West Ham United and Ipswich Town are among a number of clubs interested in signing Galatasaray attacker Hakim Ziyech.
The Moroccan international only joined Gala from Chelsea on a permanent basis in the summer but has failed to replicate the form he showed during his loan spell with the Istanbul side in the 2023/24 season.
A Spor report West Ham and Ipswich Town are monitoring the situation with Ziyech and could look to make a move for the player in the January transfer window. Both Premier League sides will be looking to bolster their squads in the new year, and it seems the former Chelsea man is an option.
The two English sides should expect to face competition from Torino, Como, Venezia, Cagliari, Girona and Real Sociedad in the race to sign the 31-year-old. However, West Ham and Ipswich Town are said to have the advantage as Ziyech would prefer a return to England.
Ziyech has made just 11 appearances for Cimbom this season, scoring no goals. He’s contracted to the Turkish league leaders until next summer.
