Fode Ballo-Toure is becoming a problem for AC Milan, as his future continues to be unsure after a disappointing loan stint at Fulham in the 2023/24 season.

The left-back could yet return to England and Calciomercato report that this possibility has arrived after Ballo-Toure ended up ‘ruining’ his move to Saint-Etienne in France.

The move was close at one point and there was an agreement in place between the two clubs before it fell apart.

While the defender dreams of a move to England and would rather play in the Premier League, it is Watford who have serious interest in him.

The Hornets have put forward an offer for the Milan man, who is training alone and proving to be a ‘problem’ for the Rossoneri.

Watford’s offer falls short of the player’s demand of €1.2 million per season, an amount which is likely to be after tax. No other offers have arrived yet, as the Hornets have issues with the player’s salary demands.

His agent is looking for a solution in France but nothing has come up for him yet. The Hornets are the only concrete option for the left-back, for now.
