Last week, Gianluca di Marzio reported Niclas Fullkrug’s agent is trying to engineer a move to Italy for the West Ham player.
This came after the agent admitted the striker made a mistake joining the Hammers in 2024. Despite the best intentions of his agent, Fullkrug’s desired exit from West Ham hasn’t quite resulted in a queue.
Tuttomercatoweb now report the Germany international has been offered to two clubs – AC Milan and AS Roma.
It’s suggested the pair were offered the chance to swap the 32-year-old with Artem Dovbyk or Santiago Gimenez. The response received by West Ham was negative.
Roma’s stance about the player is clear and they simply want a different profile.
Milan, in the meantime, vetoed the move as he is too old and doesn’t fit their age profile.
The report claims that now, the striker’s move to Italy is quite ‘complicated’. A return to Bundesliga is far likelier for the West Ham flop.
It appears everyone around Fullkrug is desperate to get him a new club.
So far at West Ham, the former Borussia Dortmund player has played 28 times. He’s faced major injury worries along the way, struggling to make a mark in the Premier League.
