Leicester City’s Dennis Praet is still in Torino’s sights, according to a report from Italy.
The Belgium international spent the 2021/22 season on loan at the Turin club and had an option to make his stay permanent.
Torino decided against exercising this option and that saw the 28-year-old return to Leicester in the summer.
The midfielder has made seven appearances in all competitions this season for the Foxes, which includes two league starts. He has again ended up on the Serie A side’s agenda.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who mentions Brendan Rodgers’ man as a target for the Italian club in the winter market.
It’s claimed the January transfer window will not be quiet for Torino as they plan to carry out several incoming and outgoing operations.
Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is already at work and has started scanning the market outside of Italy to bolster his side’s squad for the second half of the season.
For the midfield, Praet has been identified as a target. Apart from the Leicester player, the Torino chief is also looking for other players who can operate in the middle of the pitch.
