Tottenham Hotspur are in the picture to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt in the summer.
After having mixed performances until last season, the 26-year-old has been able to turn things around at BVB. He’s managed nine goals and five assists from 30 matches in all competitions this season.
It has convinced Dortmund to offer Brandt an extension as his current deal expires in 2024.
That’s according to Bild, who also state Tottenham are ‘hot’ for the attacking midfielder.
Spurs ‘want to lure’ the Germany international to the Premier League after this season. He’s informed those close to him that a move to England would ‘definitely appeal’ to him.
Chelsea’s Kai Havertz is a close friend of the Dortmund player and a move to Tottenham in the summer will see Brandt live in the same city [London] as his compatriot.
Antonio Conte’s side are trying to lure Brandt while Dortmund are working to secure his long-term future.
However, it needs to be seen how this case develops in the coming weeks and months.
