Bayern Munich have again ‘approached’ Tottenham striker Harry Kane about a move in the summer as they target a new centre-forward.
That’s according to journalist Christian Falk, who say Bayern have reached out to the Tottenham captain and made ‘new contact’ with his family, who are also his representatives, about a potential move to Germany.
Bayern are on the search for a new long-term centre-forward ahead of next season after struggling in that position this season following Robert Lewandowski’s move to Barcelona last year.
They’ve been linked with big name strikers all over Europe, including Kane, who is a long-term target for those in charge at the club.
Numerous reports since last year have made it clear they like England’s all-time record goal scorer, although Thomas Tuchel’s arrival at the club seemed to have made the club go cool on the idea.
It seems, though, that the Bavarians have not completely ruled out the Tottenham man, though, with them making a new approach of late.
“There is a striker list at Bayern, and they are working off it, that’s why Harry Kane has been approached again,” he said.
“There’s still been no decision and the number one target remains Victor Osimhen from Napoli or Kolo Muani. The alternative is Rasmus Højlund at Atalanta although all four are also targets for Manchester United.”
