Tottenham have ‘scheduled a meeting’ with AC Milan for tomorrow to finally get talks over Emerson Royal over the line.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report tomorrow could bring the drawn-out negotiations between the two sides for the Brazilian to an end.
The newspaper reports that Milan have never ‘never been so close’ to sealing a deal for the Tottenham full-back, with just €1-2m separating the two clubs and a deal ‘one step away’.
Milan and Tottenham continue to negotiate for the Brazilian full back, but the road is believed to be a downhill one rather than the opposite and ‘logic says’ a deal will be done at €14-15m.
The question is when it will be completed and there is no urgency from anyone at this point, despite the transfer having rumbled on for weeks.
Gazzetta do, though, say ‘pay attention to tomorrow’ as there is a pre-season friendly between Milan and Real Madrid in the United States.
After that, they have a ‘scheduled meeting’ with Tottenham planned to finally close the deal form Emerson and bring the transfer saga to a close.
