Arijanet Muric could leave Ipswich Town this summer, a year after joining them from Burnley.
The goalkeeper was a regular for Ipswich Town before losing his place in the starting XI at the start of this year. To make matters worse, he suffered a shoulder injury in March and that forced him to spend time on the sidelines until June.
Ipswich Town have been relegated from the Premier League and the 26-year-old is ‘open to a move’ elsewhere this summer.
That’s according to Fussball Transfers journalist Dominik Schneider, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report on US Sassuolo’s interest.
Sassuolo, who have secured promotion to Serie A, have submitted an offer to Ipswich Town. Schneider hasn’t reported on the fee proposed by the Italian club, who haven’t yet found an agreement with Muric’s employer.
Schneider also states AS Monaco are keen on signing the Swiss-born Kosovo international.
With Sassuolo making an offer, the Ligue 1 club would have to act quickly to try and sign Muric in this window.
Developments are expected in the coming hours or days.
