On Monday, we covered claims from Spain that Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil dreams of returning to Sevilla, but they can’t afford to sign him in the winter market. It was also stated both Real Sociedad and Getafe are in the picture for the winger.
La Real are working on a deal for Union Berlin’s Sheraldo Becker and he isn’t the only name on their list.
That’s according to El Desmarque, who state the La Liga side are studying more options, including that of the Tottenham player.
The San Sebastian club had looked at the 22-year-old in the past few windows and he’s still on their transfer agenda.
The Spain international has failed to have a prominent role at Tottenham since joining them in 2021. Spurs sent him on loan to Valencia and Sevilla and the report says Gil is ‘aiming’ for a new loan move this month.
That goes against some other reports which claimed Gil is tired of continuous loans, and even if he does accept one he wants there to be a purchase clause.
AS state the Spanish club are in advanced negotiations over a deal for Becker. He would be the first to arrive and they could bring in another attacker on loan in January.
Gil is Real Sociead’s ‘old wish’ and it’s claimed ‘contacts have already been established’. The report states Ange Postecoglou not starting him regularly could lead to his exit in January.
El Desmarque and AS don’t mention if Spurs are ready to let Gil go out on a loan deal.
