While Juventus negotiate the transfer of Aaron Ramsey with Premier League clubs, the news today doesn’t come from the English or the Italian media. It’s actually the Catalan press who has some interesting updates on the case.
Sport features a story saying the Old Lady are working on the signing of Miralen Pjanic from Barcelona. The Serie A giants are said to be looking for a formula to get the move done.
According to the report, Juventus meanwhile also asked for time while they sort out Ramsey’s situation. The outlet says the midfielder’s exit is being negotiated with Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sport doesn’t have many details on how the talks are going, as they only point out that the Welshman’s departure would clear Juve’s payroll and leave an open way for Pjanic’s arrival.
Even though Ramsey has been heavily linked with a return to Arsenal, other Premier League sides such as Everton and Tottenham have recently showed up in the reports as well. Now with Wolves’ interest being reported, it seems there could be a race for his signing this summer.
His contract with Juventus runs until 2023, and the Italian media hasn’t been very sure how much Juventus are demanding for his move. He’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €14m.
