On January 22nd, Star Gazetesi reported Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is very keen on Fenerbahçe’s Sebastian Szymański.
The attacking midfielder joined the Turkish club from Dynamo Moscow last summer, and has starred in his debut season, managing 12 goals and 14 assists.
Szymański hasn’t scored or registered an assist in the last month but that hasn’t stopped Tottenham from keeping tabs on him. That’s according to Fanatik, who state Spurs are closely monitoring the 24-year-old.
The Yellow Canaries are second in the table, two points behind leaders Galatasaray. This has seen a few of their players, including Szymański, draw attention from other clubs.
It’s claimed Bayer Leverkusen have set their sights on the Poland international while AC Milan have included him in their target list.
Tottenham, for their part, continue to monitor the player closely. The report adds the north London club ‘could make a move’ for him in the summer.
His deal lasts until 2027 and with several clubs in the mix for his signature, Fanatik state Fenerbahçe are worried that Szymański won’t be at the club for long.
They make no mention of the fee needed to sign the Pole.
