Tottenham Hotspur are still in the picture to sign Universidad de Chile star Darío Osorio, according to MilanLive.it.
Nicolò Zaniolo was a target for AC Milan, but the failure to take the AS Roma player has seen them move concretely for the 19-year-old. There are even claims of the Serie A winners making an offer of €5m to buy the winger immediately.
MilanLive.it state Osorio has received two other proposals from England and one of them is from Tottenham.
It’s claimed Spurs have made an ‘important offer’, which is considered to be the ‘best’ one from the economic point of view.
He was part of the Chile U20 squad that were knocked out of the U20 South American Championship by Venezuela at the weekend. This is why his employer didn’t respond to the offers made by Antonio Conte’s side and others.
The Chilean club have three offers on the table including one from the north London club. It will be up to them, in mutual agreement with Osorio, to decide which offer to accept.
Tottenham have made the ‘best’ offer and that makes it difficult for Milan to get ahead of them. The next few hours are ‘decisive’ and it remains to be seen whether Universidad de Chile will allow Osorio to move elsewhere on deadline day.
