Crystal Palace are ‘not against parting’ from Marc Guehi this summer, with Tottenham already having ‘come forward’ about a potential offer.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say Guehi ‘could well move this summer’ if anyone makes a serious bid for his services.
Guehi has been starring at Selhurst Park since arriving in a €23.34m deal from Chelsea in July 2021. He’s since established himself as a key player for the Eagles and broken into the England set up, making his debut in March last year.
That has seemingly not gone unnoticed elsewhere in the Premier League, where Tottenham ‘have come forward’ to ask about the 22-year-old.
They want to strengthen their defence this summer, with that having been a particular weak point for them this season.
They reportedly see Guehi as a ‘good opportunity to seize’ if they can, knowing those in charge at Palace are not against letting him go for the right price.
What that figure is, isn’t mentioned, but Tottenham are likely to have funds to spend, with it accepted their next manager will need to be backed to rebuild the squad and get them competing at the top of the Premier League once again.
Whether they now make a serious move for Guehi remains to be seen but it seems there is a deal there to be done if they do want it.
