Croatian star Milan Badelj has been repeatedly linked with a move to Tottenham, also reported by Italian website Calciomercato recently.
Earlier, it was reported Fiorentina and Tottenham executives had discussions about the midfielder’s future, when both sides met during the Europa League.
Fiorentina have a new director of sport, Pantaleo Corvino, who is looking to sort out Badelj’s future.
According to Fiorentinanews.com, Corvino is yet to contact the player’s representatives, but they could meet after the Euros.
Badelj is regarded as a key player for the Serie A club, but they could also very well do without him, as Fiorentina boss Paulo Sousa would then switch to a three man midfield.
Fiorentinanews reckon Badelj could cost Tottenham or any other interested club at least €10m.
Badelj’s agent, Dejan Joksimovic, also confirmed several top sides are interested in his services, who could offer much better wages, and it’d be difficult to reject them.
“Hard to say, the player is attracting interest from four top European teams, top teams and which offer much higher salaries, so it’d be hard to say no,” Joksimovic told Fiorentina.it.
