Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Pedro Porro has been going on for much of the January transfer window.
In the first half of the month, it was repeatedly reported in Portugal that Spurs didn’t want to pay the €45m Sporting CP were asking for, which is the value of the defender’s clause.
As the days went on, the Premier League club got closer to that amount, and over the weekend it was reported a verbal agreement had been reached for €48m.
Record now report an agreement has been reached which will see Spurs pay €47.5m and also give up 15% of the transfer rights they hold over Marcus Edwards.
That then, should be that.
