Real Sociedad boss Imanol Alguacil has insisted he will be the one who decides if Willian José plays against Mallorca this weekend.
The striker was left out of the midweek win against Espanyol after requesting he be taken out of the squad after a bid from Tottenham was rejected.
The club ultimately decided to grant the striker his request, with him having made it clear that he wants the move to Tottenham and clear in his desire to push it through.
However, a deal is yet to be agreed for him, and he trained with the Spanish club, as usual, this morning ahead of their game.
If that doesn’t happen, though, Alguacil has insisted there will be no repeat of the antics during the week.
“He is training and very well,” Marca report him saying.
“Last match day I respected his decision, he decided, but this time I’m going to decide. What did I think of his desire to be disqualified? Wrong.
“I’m going to do it from a sporting point of view and he is very good, training at the level of the rest, I don’t want to give it any more importance.
“Today William José and Januzaj are ours. It’s a very important match, and we have to win it no matter what.”
