Despite the transfer window being shut in England and most countries in Europe, there are still a few places around the world where want away players could end up.
One of those will be Hakim Ziyech, who is looking for a way out from Chelsea, which he came incredibly close to when Paris Saint-Germain were open to a loan until the end of the season.
However, the Blues’ focus on Enzo Fernández meant they rushed the paperwork for the Morocco international, twice, and made mistakes that delayed the transfer enough for it to eventually fall through.
Therefore, Ziyech has had to return to Chelsea, where Graham Potter has said he could be of use, although we all know he won’t start.
That’s why talk of a move to Turkey has already happened, with the likes of Besiktas reportedly considering putting something together, but that’s not the only place he could end up.
According to Le10 Sport, the player could ‘bounce back in the United Arab Emirates’, as their transfer window also closes on February 8th.
The French website claim that talks are ‘currently underway’ to send Ziyech there, and the player ‘isn’t against this idea’.
Not only that, but ‘everything should decide itself in the next few hours’ and his exit is ‘certainly not excluded’, from both Chelsea’s end and Ziyech’s.
As for what that would mean going forward, the player’s representatives are ‘trying to include a clause facilitating a possible return to Europe going forward’.
