A representative for Turkish side Fenerbahçe has flow to London for talks with Tottenham and Yves Bissouma.

That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who reports that Fenerbahçe are stepping up their efforts for the Tottenham midfielder.

A report this week stated that they were keen on a move for the Tottenham man, with Jose Mourinho specifically targeting his signing. Bissouma has also, reportedly, given his approval to the move.

Sabuncuoğlu now reports that a representative authorised by Fenerbahçe has flown to London to meet with Bissouma and Tottenham over the transfer.

That is the extent of the information at this moment in time, and we would have to assume that this representative is an agent of some sort.

There is no mention of a transfer price at this moment in time, but the fact that Fenerbahçe have sent a representative for talks in London would suggest that they are confident of securing Bissouma’s signature this summer.

The 28-year-old cost Tottenham €29.2m when he joined from Brighton in 2022 but is in the final year of his deal, which is sure to push Tottenham’s asking price down this year as they look to avoid losing him on a free next summer.
