Le Havre’s Kenny Quetant has ended up on Aston Villa’s transfer agenda for the summer window, according to a report from France.
The 18-year-old is a product of the French club’s youth system and was promoted to their U19 side in 2023. He hasn’t made his first team debut for Le Havre yet.
Quetant operates as a striker, scoring 11 goals and registering two assists from 22 games for U19s last season. He hasn’t managed to replicate that form this season where he was restricted to four appearances for Le Havre U19s.
Despite this, the youngster has caught Aston Villa’s attention if Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna is to be believed. He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide a short update.
Aouna describes the Paris-born frontman as the ‘talent for the future’ and the Villans are eyeing a move for him. He adds the Premier League club have made contacts to sign the teenager.
The journalist adds discussions are ongoing, without specifying if it’s with Quetant’s camp or Le Havre. If Aston Villa were to secure his services, Quetant could initially be part of their youth team.
