Tottenham Hotspur will allow Japhet Tanganga to leave in the winter market after his loan stay at FC Augsburg was cut short.

Multiple reports from England have insisted that Millwall are set to be to the defender’s next destination and that the deal could go through soon, as quickly as today. That hasn’t stopped claims from Turkey talking about the possibility of his arrival at Beşiktaş this month.

That’s at least what Akşam are reporting and they state the Tottenham player ‘is coming’ to Istanbul to join the Black Eagles.

It’s said there has been a ‘surprising development’ to bring the 24-year-old to the Turkish club in the ongoing window. The outlet further adds the England international is preparing to come to Beşiktaş.

Akşam say Tanganga was on Beşiktaş’ agenda last summer, before he joined the German club on a loan deal. This move didn’t pay off and he’s returned to Tottenham, where the defender won’t be under consideration for Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs are ready to sanction another loan move and Akşam believe Beşiktaş are taking advantage of that.

Surprisingly, the report makes no mention of Millwall’s interest and with the Championship side seeming to be advanced to secure his services, Beşiktaş’ have to hurry if they wish to sign Tanganga.
