Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espírito Santo sanctioned Rafa Mir’s loan move to second division Spanish side Las Palmas last summer, and he’s scored six goals in 24 (17 as a starter) league appearances this term.

In October 2018, we relayed news from Spain that Rafa Mir is on the agenda of Sevilla and Las Palmas for next season, and it was also reported that Wolves don’t count on the forward.

The Murcia-born attacker has granted an interview with La Provincia.

During the course of the chat, Mir was asked if he prefers to continue in England or return to Spain once his loan deal with Las Palmas expires.

“It depends. I have to study all the situations and choose the best option for me. The time will come to decide my future because it is inevitable,” Mir explained.

Mir has left it to his agent to resolve his future, while he’s also sent a clear message to his representative regarding the developments surrounding his future.

“I know that my agent is working and seeing things, but I tell him that I do not want to know anything,” he added.

If Nuno Espírito Santo decides not to include him in his plans for next season and if Sevilla are still interested him, both Mir and Wolves will have to make a decision in the summer.
