Towards the end of October, Fennec Football stated Saïd Benrahma wasn’t pleased with his situation at West Ham United and was seriously considering leaving the London club in the winter market.
The winger hasn’t had much time, clocking in 157 minutes from the last 10 league games, where he was an unused substitute in five of them.
A fresh report from Fennec Football gives an insight into the ‘strong choice’ made by the 28-year-old over his future at West Ham.
The Algeria international’s deal lasts until 2026 and the report says he has already received requests from several Saudi Arabian clubs, including Al-Ahli.
It’s said Benrahma is ‘not being tempted’ to leave the Hammers and is ‘declining tempting offers’ from the Middle East to stay in the Premier League.
Fennec Football claim the player has ‘made it clear’ that he wants to stay at West Ham and will fight for his place, despite not having a major role under David Moyes.
The outlet adds this decision includes risk, but his situation could improve at West Ham if the manager were to leave or due to other factors.
It needs to seen whether Benrahma will maintain the same stance if he continues to be a substitute at West Ham in the coming weeks.
