Manchester City striker Nahuel Bustos is leaving the club on a permanent deal, according to claims from South America.
Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo comes up with an exclusive story saying Talleres bought the 24-year-old.
It’s claimed that the operation is ‘closed’, and the player will be signing a three-year contract.
There’s no information on how much Tallares are paying Manchester City for the permanent deal.
The Argentine club is where the player started his career, and in 2020 he was sold to Pep Guardiola’s side in a €6.5m transfer.
Now despite the three years he belonged to Manchester City, he never really had the chance to play for the club.
In the first two seasons, he was loaned out to Girona. Then he spent a few months at Brazilian side São Paulo, and in January his year, he made the move to Talleres.
Bustos is having a decent spell at the Argentine club, with seven goals in 15 appearances, so it’s no surprise they moved for his permanent transfer. His Transfermarkt valuation is €3m, and we should soon see how much this deal is costing.
