Last month, reports from the Turkish press stated Galatasaray vice-president Erden Timur was to London to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a deal for Victor Nelsson.

The defender has been heavily linked to the north London club, who are also looking at his club teammate, Nicolò Zaniolo.

According to Milliyet, Timur has travelled to London again to hold fresh talks with Tottenham for Nelsson and Zaniolo.

It’s claimed Timur ‘sat at the table’ with Spurs for both the 24-year-old centre-back and the Italy international and asked €60m for the duo.

Milliyet say Ange Postecoglou’s side proposed a ‘crazy offer’, which includes two to three of their own players plus €30-35m cash in exchange for the Dane and the 23-year-old forward. There’s no mention of which players Spurs offered to Galatasaray.

Timur wasn’t pleased with Tottenham’s package but the report adds the talks are ongoing for Nelsson and Zaniolo.

It’s further claimed the Galatasaray vice-president ‘wants to take concrete steps’ to try and sell some of his side’s players during his latest trip to England.

Meanwhile, the former AS Roma man told the Italian media on Wednesday that his dream is to join Juventus.
