Leeds United have already seen a few players leave Elland Road after relegation from the Premier League last season.
Diego Llorente is among them, and he returned to AS Roma on a loan deal. He was joined by Rasmus Kristensen at the Serie A side, who has joined them on a dry loan deal.
The Italian media have had a chat with the Leeds owned fullback and his comments have been relayed by La Roma 24.
The 26-year-old, who arrived at Leeds from Red Bull Salzburg last summer, has insisted he’s delighted to have joined the Giallorossi as he was “always fascinated” by Serie A.
José Mourinho could use the Denmark international as a right-back or a right wing-back at Roma. The Whites defender was asked to explain his ‘best quality’.
He said: “I think the quality that most distinguishes me is probably strength, physical quality.
“It’s always difficult to judge yourself, to talk about yourself, I usually leave judgments to others. But if you ask me, I really think that power and physical prowess also allow me to do other things on the pitch, such as a run, a goal, an assist.”
“I can be useful both in the defensive and in the offensive phases. I like to run and fight; I am someone who always gives 100% on the pitch to help the team up to the last minute of the last match.”
Last season, Roma finished sixth in the table, seven points behind fourth placed AC Milan. The Leeds owned defender remains “optimistic” of the Italian club returning to the Champions League.
Kristensen’s contract at Leeds expires in 2027.
