Real Betis are reportedly ready to give up on signing Marc Muniesa from Stoke City. The player is considered to be too expensive for the club.
According to Estádio Deportivo today, Stoke City would demand at least €3.5m to sell the player. The Potters are described by the website as a ‘very hard club to negotiate’ with, which would make Betis go for other options.
The Spanish side would now turn their attentions to Jaroslaw Jach from Zagłębie Lubin. The problem is that the Polish defender could also end up going somewhere, since Betis find it difficult to pay more than €1m and Feyenoord are offering double.
With only five Premier League appearances this season, Muniesa is really struggling to get minutes at Stoke. He was left out of the club’s last five matches.
Having arrived from Barcelona on a free transfer in 2013, the player has a contract with the Potters until 2019.
