Southampton and Leeds United are among the clubs chasing Manchester City’s Juma Bah this summer.

That’s according to Africa Foot, who state Manchester City are considering sending the 19-year-old out on loan and several clubs are in the mix.

This includes Southampton, Leeds, Paris FC, 1. FC Köln, and the Whites, the French club and the German club secured promotions to the Premier League, the Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga respectively. The Saints have been relegated to the second division.

These four clubs are looking to sign the Manchester City player on a season-long loan deal this summer.

Africa Foot’s title says ‘Southampton in pole position’ as they are ahead of Leeds, Paris FC and Köln in the transfer race. They add the Saints are already in ongoing discussions to secure his services.

The report doesn’t mention if Southampton are in talks with his camp, Manchester City or both, but do state the ‘outcome appears encouraging’.

Manchester City signed Bah from Real Valladolid in January and sent him on loan to RC Lens in the same window. He’ll go out on loan again and the Saints could beat Leeds, Paris FC and Köln to secure his services.
