Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombélé has been on loan at Galatasaray since last summer and the Istanbul club have an option to make his stay permanent for €15m.
The midfielder has struggled, both on and off the pitch, this season. Last month, Akşam stated Spurs wasted their breath in negotiating the purchase option since Galatasaray have no plans to exercise it.
There’s been multiple claims in the Turkish press that the Tottenham man is unlikely to continue in Istanbul beyond this season.
Takvim bring a new twist to this case, one which can allow the Frenchman to extend his stay at Galatasaray.
Ndombélé has struggled at Spurs since joining them from Lyon in 2019, and has been out on loan since January 2022.
His deal at the north London club lasts until 2025, and the report states Ange Postecoglou has no plans to include the player in his plans next season. Therefore, Spurs are looking to get rid of him in the summer.
Takvim state Tottenham have made a ‘shocking offer’ to Galatasaray, after the Turkish club decided against buying him for €15m. It’s said Spurs have offered the Turkish club the chance to sign Ndombélé for just €5m.
Galatasaray haven’t responded to the Premier League side just yet, but the outlet claims they are ‘cold to this proposal’.
