Amid the many claims that have been made about Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele since his move to Galatasaray, none of them have involved him potentially staying beyond the current season.
The midfielder has found himself in yet another tough situation, this time in Turkey, as he barely features for more than a few minutes at a time despite being paid a lot of money.
That has frustrated a lot of Galatasaray fans and Turkish journalists, with Aksam now covering claims from England about the Tottenham flop, before adding a little bit of information of their own.
This isn’t the first time this has happened with Ndombele, as Tottenham have always negotiated an option to buy in his loans to Lyon, Napoli and now the Turkish club, but it was all wasted on nothing.
The one set with the Ligue 1 side was always too big for them to trigger, while the Italians wanted some heavy discounts on the initially agreed fee.
Now, we see Galatasaray never considering it, meaning Daniel Levy and co. have wasted their breath once again in talks, with Ndombele set to return to Tottenham in the near future.
