Rangers are yet to make a move for Estoril defender Kévin Boma, despite reports of their interest.
That’s according to O Jogo, who pull back on the reports from Scotland about the defender and insist that there is nothing advancing around him.
The newspaper explains that Boma has been one of Estoril’s standout performers this season and those performances have not gone unnoticed. There is a possibility he could leave this summer because of it.
Rangers are one of those interested and reports in the British press have stating that he’s on Nils Koppen’s list of reinforcements ahead of a potentially busy summer at Ibrox.
O Jogo, though, report that as far as they’ve been able to discover, no proposal has arrived from Rangers at this point. That is not to say it can’t happen, but no Rangers proposal been sent to SAD da Amoreira as yet.
Estoril would, presumably, like to keep the defender and manager Ian Cathro has spoken publicly about his desire to keep hold of the 22-year-old after his performances this season.
Whether they can remains to be seen but Rangers are yet to make a proposal as far as O Jogo are concerned.
