Salernitana’s Domagoj Bradarić is on Rangers’ radar this summer, according to Il Mattino.
The left-back was a regular last season and made 37 appearances in all competitions. The Italian club were relegated from the Serie A and their owners are looking to offload some of the players in this window.
This includes the 24-year-old, and the report says Rangers and Cagliari are in the picture to sign him.
Philippe Clement’s side could take advantage of the Serie B side’s need to sell the Croatia international, to secure his services on a reasonable deal. However, it’s unclear whether Rangers will consider a approach for him.
It feels like Il Mattino have dragged Rangers into the mix, likely to put pressure on Cagliari.
Rangers have strengthened the left-back position by signing Jefté from Fluminense earlier in this window. In addition to the Brazilian, Philippe Clement currently has Rıdvan Yılmaz and Robbie Fraser as two other players in the same position.
Taking this into account, it wouldn’t make sense for Rangers to sign Bradarić, unless at least one of the current left-backs were to leave the club.
