Tickets for Arsenal’s second leg clash against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-finals are being re-sold from €500 to €5000+ ahead of the game next week.
That’s according to RMC Sport, who report that ‘prices are soaring’ for the second leg after PSG’s 1-0 win at the Emirates this week.
They say that a ‘gentle euphoria’ is enveloping the French capital after that win, aided by rising temperatures and return of the sunshine too.
It’s led to a ‘wave of excitement’ among football fans in Paris, with Paris FC also expected to secure promotion to Ligue 1 this season.
PSG are also in an ideal position to make it into the Champions League final and fans are determined to secure tickets for their second leg against Arsenal next week.
Tickets are currently ‘flying high’ on the resale platform set up by PSG.
The cheapest ticket, as of Thursday, was €529.20 including booking fees. This would get you a seat in the Boulogne stand, located behind one of the goals. The most expensive in this sector are listed at €1298.
Depending on location, prices continue to rise, reaching several thousand Euros. The most expensive seat, located at the bottom of the Borelli stand, was priced at €5,000, with a €900 booking fee. The most expensive package, including three seats, is going for €10,620.
So, any Arsenal fans perhaps hoping to make it last minute may want to think again, unless they have very deep pockets indeed.
