Striker Carlos Vinícius has heaped praise on Fulham manager Marco Silva for their performances this season.
Fulham have been superb in their first season back in the Premier League, sitting seventh in the table after 26 games with 39 points to their name.
They are very much in the fight for a place in Europe next season, with just two points separating them from Newcastle in sixth and only six between them and Tottenham in fourth.
It’s been a magnificent campaign for them so far in which they have carried on where they left off last season win which they dominated the Championship, finishing on 90 points and scoring 106 goals in total.
That campaign was something of a revival for Silva, whose reputation had been left damaged after previous unsuccessful spells in the Premier League with Watford and Everton.
His reputation is now as high as it has ever been and, like the pundits who have been praising him, it seems his Fulham squad are huge admirers.
“We are having a great season,” Vinícius told O Jogo.
“I feel more prepared and with more experience than in my first spell in the Premier League. It is worth highlighting the enormous quality of the manager, who is a good manager of people and groups.
“On the field, at a tactical and technical level, he knows a lot about the game, about English football.
“He is a coach who continues to stand out, who has proven his value, knowledge and quality.
“I try to take advantage, whether I have 5 or 90 minutes. I’m always looking for the goal and that way I know I’m helping the team. I don’t set goals because I think the best thing is to live game after game.”
