Trabzonspor can offer Tottenham Hotspur‘s Richarlison an immediate escape route.

Roberto De Zerbi has already confirmed the forward has asked to leave. On Tuesday, the window in England closed, and he hasn’t secured a move away from Spurs yet.

Two days ago, the forward made his feelings clear of wanting to return to his former club. However, he wasn’t happy with the manner how the negotiations, likely carried out by Tottenham.

The Brazil international didn’t secure a return to Everton and his future remains uncertain.

Although the window closed, Trabzonspor can still sign him as the Turkish window remains open until September 4th.

Clear plan to sign Tottenham man

The Süper Lig side want to improve their attack before Friday’s deadline while working on appointing a new manager, after Fatih Tekke’s exit.

That’s according to Taka Gazetesi, who states Trabzonspor have the Tottenham Hotspur player on their agenda. Espanyol’s Roberto Fernández is also on the target list. The focus seems to be on the Brazil international.

That’s because Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has travelled to London via a private plane to try and secure Richarlison’s services.

Taka Gazetsi states: ‘Developments following Doğan’s trip to England will be decisive in determining who Trabzonspor’s new striker will be.’

The Turkish club’s plan is to sign the former Watford man on loan while Spurs want to get rid of him permanently.

Formula doesn’t favour Tottenham

Roberto De Zerbi has the attacking position well covered with Savinho, Omar Marmoush and Mykhailo Mudryk’s signings in the summer.

The South American’s contract that expires in 2027 and Tottenham Hotspur may look to cash in from his sale, to avoid losing him for nothing next year.

Taking these factors into account, it’s not surprising the north London club want to sell Richarlison. He has only a few countries, where the windows are still open, to pick from.

With Trabzonspor looking for a loan move, the Premier League side have to decide on whether to accept this.
