Leny Yoro’s agents are pushing for him to join Manchester United this summer and working to finalise the deal with Lille for him.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say Manchester United’s ‘intense pressing’ on the matter is beginning to bear fruit.
Yoro has found himself in the middle of a tug-of-war between Manchester United and Real Madrid this summer after establishing himself as one of the rising young stars in European football at Lille.
The youngster has made it clear for some time he wants to move to Spain and would even be willing to wait for a year when his contract expires to join Carlo Ancelotti’s side on a free transfer.
That’s not put Manchester United off, though, and they have continued to push for a deal with Lille in the hope of then convincing Yoro.
Reports earlier today stated they had now agreed a deal with the French side for the defender, considerably bettering the proposal that had been offered by Real Madrid in the process.
With that now in pocket, FM report that Manchester United are even ‘increasingly attractive’ for the player as well.
He’s remained indifferent to the Red Devils so far, but this is less and less the case, and some members of his entourage are now pushing for him to move to England and give up on Real Madrid for now.
They believe that he can easily find his place at Manchester United, certainly easier than he would do at Real Madrid, making them more of a plausible destination today than they once were.
Yoro is yet to decide and neither has his agent, but contractual discussion are ongoing between the various parties and while they are, Manchester United are becoming more and more attractive, especially while Real Madrid refuse to up their bid and seriously compete.
