Robert Lewandowski swapping his long term agent for Pini Zahavi was as sure a sign as any that the Polish striker fancies a move in the summer window.
There’s been other hints in the German media that all isn’t perfect between Lewandowski and Bayern Munich, and the most reported probable destination has been Real Madrid.
Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked, the former because they’ve worked with Zahavi before and have been looking for a striker, and the latter because they’re linked with everyone.
Manchester City haven’t really played a big part in the recent rumours, but Guillem Balague, writing for Spanish newspaper AS, has changed that a little.
Manchester City don’t really need to sign a striker, but nothing can be ruled out in transfers. Should Sergio Aguero finally decide he fancies trying his luck elsewhere, which doesn’t seem likely at the moment, then things may change.
The biggest problem for Zahavi, rather than finding a destination, will be convincing Bayern to sell.
