Bryan Gil is set to sign a five-year deal at Tottenham as they look to secure his transfer from Sevilla by the end of the week.
That’s according to ABC Sevilla, who cover the impending transfer today and provide details on the operation.
Gil has been closing in on a move to Tottenham over the last week, with Sevilla electing to accept a player plus cash offer from Spurs that will see Erik Lamela go the other way.
A report today indicated it would be completed in the coming days, and ABC back that up, saying that the two clubs are already ‘exchanging documents’ to close the operation.
Tottenham will pay an initial €23m fee, although that can be increased through bonuses, as well as Lamela heading the other way.
The agreement is now considered ‘total’, and the ‘double announcement’ is expected to take place before the ‘end of this week.’
Gil is currently concentrated on the Olympic Games but has already sorted out his contract with Tottenham and will sign a five-year deal until 2026, and there is no mention of what wages he will earn.
Lamela, meanwhile, will sign a deal with Sevilla until 2024.
