Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Fabio Silva has revealed the club are in “constant contact” with him during his loan spell with Anderlecht.
The Portuguese forward joined the Belgian side on loan in the summer in search of regular playing time that wasn’t on offer at Molineux.
He’s proved to a big hit in the Jupiler Pro League, with six goals and one assist In 17 games to his name so far.
Coupled with two goals and an assist in the Europa League qualifiers and a goal and an assist in the Conference League, it means he is on ten goals and four assists in 28 games.
Those numbers have led to reports that Wolves could look to take him back in January, with Julen Lopetegui overhauling the squad and keen to improve his forward line as Wolves are the lowest scorers in the Premier League this season with eight.
Silva’s goals would be a welcome addition, then, and he admits the club are in constant talks with him during his time away.
“Wolverhampton keep in constant contact with me,” Voetbal Krant report him saying.
“They want to know how I feel at training, how I’m doing in the matches, how my family is…
“When we played in Europe against West Ham, they also sent a delegation to London and afterwards we made an evaluation. We’ll see what happens in January.”
