SC Braga forward Simon Banza has ‘no objections’ over potentially rejecting West Ham United and heading to the United Arab Emirates for the money.
That’s according to O Jogo, who report that the forward has no problem heading to the Middle East to secure his financial future.
The newspaper explains that while Banza has plenty of suitors in Europe after his performances for Braga, with West Ham one of several teams to have shown an interest in him, there is every chance he could head elsewhere.
According to their information, while those teams have positioned themselves for the potential signing, the reality is that it is a proposal from the UAE that is closer to being finalised.
The player himself welcomed the offer presented to him and has ‘no objections’ to accepting it and heading to the Middle East, even if that means turning down West Ham and other European admirers.
Those clubs could still move to try and convince him otherwise but are unlikely to be able to offer anywhere near the kind of money that might be on the table in the UAE.
That money has certainly turned Banza’s head, and his other suitors may now have work on their hands to turn it back the other way.
