West Ham United loanee Carlos Soler has admitted he is loving life in London after arriving from Paris Saint Germain last summer.
El Desmarque cover an interview with the midfielder today after the West Ham man spoke to Rodrigo Fáez about various subjects.
He’s been on loan at West Ham since the summer after arriving from Paris Saint Germain in a deal that includes an option for the Hammers to make it permanent.
The move has continued something of a European tour of great cities for Soler, who has also played in Valencia and Paris in his career to date.
He’s been a regular for the Hammers this season and earned plenty of praise for his performances, despite a disappointing season for West Ham overall.
All expectations are that his move will be made permanent in the summer using that clause, as Graham Potter reshapes the squad he inherited from Julen Lopetegui.
It appears Soler would be more than happy if that were to happen as he’s loving life in London, where he’s finding things more relaxed than in the likes of Paris and Valencia.
“The first two days I got on the pavements, there is not much mystery. In Paris they drove worse, when I go as a pedestrian there, I have more problems,” he said.
“I can walk around the street quietly and that’s cool because you can blend in with the people and live a normal life. It’s all very quiet, I also take the metro a lot.”
