Atalanta’s Hans Hateboer remains a possible option for Nottingham Forest, with the player keen on a move to the Premier League.
That’s according to Tutto Atalanta, who say Atalanta chief Lee Congerton is working to negotiate a move for him.
The website explains that Hateboer’s future at the club is currently ‘uncertain’, with Congerton working for the last ten days to see what the market is like for the player.
He is ‘liked’ by Nottingham Forest and has been linked with a move to the club, who continue to strengthen their squad after promotion.
They’ve already signed Remo Freuler from the Italian side and been linked with several of their other players as well and TA report that it ‘cannot be ruled out’ that there are developments around Hateboer before the transfer deadline next week.
According to their information, the player has ‘lost some motivation’ in Bergamo and ‘would be tempted’ by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
Whether he is interested in Forest isn’t mentioned but they were able to tempt Freuler and would presumably be confident of doing the same with his former teammate.
At this point it is a situation to keep an eye on, but the belief is that the situation is moving around Hateboer, and Nottingham Forest remain in the mix.
