Two days ago, Calciomercato stated Nottingham Forest are considering signing AS Roma’s Edoardo Bove.
On Wednesday, the same outlet reported the Premier League side are involved in ‘hot negotiations’ for the midfielder.
Nottingham Forest have now made progress to sign the 22-year-old, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Bove is aware that he’s not a key part of Daniele De Rossi’s plans this season. He was left on the bench in the first two league games.
Roma are looking to trim their squad before the window closes on Friday. Corriere claim their sporting director, Florent Ghisolfi, is working on transferring Bove to Nottingham Forest.
The Italian, for his part, has ‘said yes’ to joining Nottingham Forest. It’s further claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have presented a €10m bid to the Serie A side.
This should be a good deal for all involved, considering the player isn’t favoured by De Rossi. With all parties in favour of a transfer, Bove should seal a move to the Premier League side.
Corriere’s title say the Italian is ‘one step away’ from Nottingham Forest. This would insinuate the parties are optimistic of reaching a positive conclusion for this operation.
