On July 27th, L’Equipe reported AS Monaco have submitted a first offer of around €5m to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.
The Ligue 1 side are keen on bolstering their defence and the 25-year-old has been identified as their main target, according to Foot Mercato.
Monaco are on the right track to sign the Fulham player. It’s claimed they have ‘quickly’ reached an agreement with him, despite interest from other clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur. A deal now needs to be agreed between the two clubs.
The report states the French club are now close to agreeing a deal with Marco Silva’s side for the centre-back. Foot Mercato add the two clubs want the operation to be closed before the weekend.
On Sunday, multiple reports in England and France stated the Ligue 1 side have a deal in place to sell Axel Disasi to Chelsea.
With Monaco now ‘very close’ to completing a deal for the Fulham player, the report says he should replace Disasi at the club next season.
There’s no mention of the fee Silva’s side will collect from Adarabioyo’s impending sale.
