With Luis Sinisterra standing at Leeds United’s exit door, the Colombian media now shares the latest news on his situation.

Journalist Pipe Sierra writes that the Whites have no need of selling the player this summer, and that’s why they won’t give away any discounts for his transfer.

Leeds reportedly ‘demand’ the £22m from his release clause for him to go. And Sinisterra, meanwhile, has asked the club to ‘listen’ to the offers from some interested clubs.

According to Sierra, the player has been training separately from the squad, but he is keeping in touch with his agents in order to sort out his current situation.

In recent days, we’ve seen the likes of Feyenoord and Olympique Marseille getting linked to Sinisterra, but those teams were unlikely to pay a big fee for the player, and seem to have cooled down their interest.

Sinisterra took part in Leeds’ first two games of the season, and ended up being left out of the match against Birmingham City because of an alleged ankle injury.

His contract with the Whites runs until 2027, and he’s valued by Transfermarkt at €22m.
