Norwich City have an agreement for the signing of Palmeiras youngster Pedro Lima, according to reports from Brazil.

Outlet Nosso Palestra were the one breaking the news on Wednesday morning, claiming there were ‘advanced negotiations’ for him to be loaned to the Canaries for a year.

Later on, ESPN Brasil came up to back up the news, saying Palmeiras and Norwich already have a deal agreed for the move.

The 20-year-old is indeed moving on a one-year loan, but the Canaries will not have an option to buy him.

Pedro Lima is expected to fly to England on Friday to have his medicals and sign the contract with Norwich City.

At first, he’s expected to join the Canaries’ U-21 squad, and he should have his debut against Chelsea next week.

According to ESPN, Norwich City plan to work his physical strength in the first few months, and then have him playing for the first-team by the end of the season.

Lima only has one appearance for Palmeiras’ first team, and is seen by the club as a prospect with great potential.
