Hakim Ziyech looks set to leave Chelsea on a free transfer, with a move to Galatasaray edging closer and his contract with the Turkish side including a special clause to ease the deal along.

That’s according to Milliyet, who cover the developing situation around Ziyech as he nears his desired exit from Stamford Bridge.

The newspaper reports that Galatasaray are ‘very close’ to signing Ziyech from Chelsea, with the Morocco international undergoing some medical checks ahead of the move.

In the interim, Milliyet have discovered the terms of the contract he will be signing with the Super Lig side and explain them.

According to their information, via their journalist Nevzat Dindar, Ziyech will be moving from Chelsea on a free transfer and sign a three-year deal that will see him earn €4.5m per season.

However, the contract includes a ‘special article’ stating that if any problems are discovered during the winger’s medical, the ‘contract will be suspended’.

This comes after a previously agreed move to Saudi Arabia was cancelled earlier this summer after problems emerged during his medical with Al-Nassr.

It seems Galatasaray want to protect themselves because of that and have included a special clause in this deal with Chelsea and the player as a result.
